The Delhi Directorate of education is popularly referred to as (Del E) it’s a special department working under the Ministry of education for the Delhi government. The department’s sole purpose is to manage all public school systems in Delhi to bring growth and development within the schools. Delhi Directorate of education established in 1986 but modified to require effect in 1992. The introduction of the department has seen significant improvement in education, which promoted economic process for Delhi.
In the year 1973, the Delhi education act agreed within the assembly. The Act gave the responsibility of the pre-primary and first level students to renowned bodies like MCD, NDMC, and therefore the Delhi cantonment. The secondary level students and senior secondary were governed by the directorate of education (the 1980s).
